Welcome
Welcome
Welcome

Well, I must start out with a thanks to my mom...she was the one who set Andrew and I up on our first date. My mom used to work with Andrew at Furniture Medic. My mom asked me day after day to call Andrew. I finally did.

Our first date was on September 12, 2003 at Hollywood Cinema in Appleton. We went to see "Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star." We met by the Funset Restaurant before the movie. Alex was working at Funset at the time so I talked to him until I saw an Andrew-looking guy. After the movie, it was pouring rain, so quite the gentleman, Andrew drove me to my car.

The Proposal
Andrew was at my duplex in Kaukauna when I walked home from work at 4:30 pm. (This was not unusual.) When I came in I saw a large gift bag on the kitchen counter and said, "Presents! I love presents!" Andrew was sitting in the big chair by the fireplace and said I could bring it over and open it. I pulled out a small wrapped box and thought maybe it was necklace, earrings, or bracelet. When I opened the box and saw the ring I started crying. Andrew said, "Will you marry me?" I said yes right away!

We had a great engagement party to celebrate with our families. To see all the fun check out our Shutterfly Engagement Celebration book, Engagement Celebration for Rose and Andrew.

One word, family! We are so lucky to have great families. There is no one we would rather have standing by us than our siblings.

Cherie, Rachel, and Brittany- I am so excited to be gaining 3 sisters!

Allan, Alex, and Chris-I already have one super big brother; I know I can handle two more "little" brothers too!

We will be getting married at Homestead Meadows in Greenville, WI. Homestead Meadows has a country feeling that is so us. It reminds me of my home farm growing up. It also reminds us of the beautiful country home that we purchased together in July 2011.

We have booked a honeymoon cruise to Alaska! We are very excited to be cruising with Holland America on the Westerdam ship. We will depart from Seattle on Saturday September 22 and return home Saturday September 29.

Want to contribute to our trip of a lifetime as a wedding gift? See our Honeymoon Registry. You can help send us on unique Alaskan excursions!
